The Vandegrift cheer teams traveled to Galveston for National Cheerleaders Association camp in July and came back with the following awards:  

  • NCA Top Team Cheer (varsity)
  • NCA Top Team Cheer (JV)
  • NCA Top Team Band Chant (JV)
  • Herkie Team Award 
  • Spirit Stick
  • Technical Excellence Award (varsity)
  • All-American Team – 18 cheerleaders
  • Individual Leadership Award – Ellie Bergquist
