Taylor Morrison’s newest neighborhood, Lakeview, plans to have 55 homes off of Steiner Ranch Boulevard.
“Our development is scheduled for roads and utilities to go in through the end of the year. We may start pre-selling late this year,” said Adib Khoury, Vice President of Land Resources with Taylor Morrison, Steiner’s developer.
The timetable depends on market demand.
“It’s a matter of how quickly the market can absorb those 55 homes,” Khoury said.
The property is approximately 24 acres and sits directly behind Steiner Ranch Elementary. It will have two accesses onto Steiner Ranch Boulevard.
The company plans to build single-family homes priced from the upper $300s, with square footages ranging from 2,264 to 3,135. Homes will feature open concept designs and have stone and stucco accents.
The lots will be approximately 60 feet by 120 feet, Khoury said.
Home sites will have views of Lake Travis. It is MU 11 on the community map.
This is a different site than the apartment project proposed in fall 2011 on MU 13, which sits further up Steiner Ranch, past the newly purchased Meritage at Steiner Ranch.
“We don’t own or control (MU 13). It is ready to start development. It was under contract but did not close,” Khoury said.
In November 2011, Greystone Development planned to build 26 apartment buildings with 298 units on a portion of the 52 acres at 4800 Steiner Ranch Blvd. The project went through some development before stalling.
Across the street from MU 11 and MU 13 is another site under construction called the View at Steiner Ranch. The neighborhood is being developed by Gehan Homes LTD and located at 4309 Vista Verde. Prices start at $397,990. A model home is open and others are being built.
