Voters on Tuesday morning go to Randalls Steiner Ranch to cast their ballot at the only Four Points early voting site.

Randalls Steiner Ranch has had a steady volume of early voting since the polling place opened at 7 a.m. on Oct. 24. By the end of the first day of early voting, 1,171 voters had cast their ballots at Randalls which contributed to the 32,732 total people who voted in Travis County on Monday.

That’s nearly double the first day of early voting in 2012, and close to the 33,354 who voted on the first day of 2008, when President Barack Obama was first elected, according to the Austin American-Statesman.

The Randalls at 5145 RM 620 is the only early voting site in Four Points. Voters can cast their ballots from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m. every day through the end of early voting on Friday, Nov. 4, except Sunday when hours are noon until 6 p.m.

Voters in Travis County can check on how long the wait time is by going to IVoteEarly.com and clicking the “Wait Times” tab. The green light means less than a 30-minute wait.

Early voting locations and hours vary. Voters can go to any Travis County vote center where there is a “Vote Here/Aqui” sign.

There are mega voting sites with lots parking, many voting machines and more staff to help including in West Austin at Ben Hur Shrine Center, 7811 Rockwood Ln.

On election day Nov. 8, voting locations are open from 7 a.m. – 7p.m. and include local sites: Randalls Steiner Ranch, Canyon Ridge Middle School, Grandview Hills Elementary and River Place Elementary.
