The Viper Nation Education Foundation made the rounds to local schools on Thursday to award more than $38,500 in impact grants to local teachers and staff.
William Farrell, VNEF president, and VNEF board members along with Dan Troxell, Leander ISD superintendent, and proud principals surprised 14 hard-working teachers and staff at seven local schools with big checks.
Because of the generosity of supportive donors to Viper Nation Education Foundation, 13 impact grants and one scholarship for professional development were awarded on April 26 for the 2018-2019 school year.
Viper Nation Education Foundation board members Michelle Beck, Gene Arant, Lynette Haaland Seitzler, Pam Province, Contessa Weinheimer and Matt Schaefer were part of VNEF Impact Grant patrol.
