A remarkable six Leander ISD schools — including four in the Four Points area — have been named to the 2017–2018 Educational Results Partnership Honor Roll.
Laura Welch Bush, River Ridge and Rutledge elementary schools, Canyon Ridge and Stiles middle schools, and Vandegrift High School were recognized as leaders in student achievement.
The program, sponsored by the Institute for Productivity in Education, is part of a national effort to identify higher-performing schools and districts that are improving student outcomes. More than 700 public schools in Texas were recognized on this year’s Honor Roll.
The Texas Honor Roll recognizes public elementary, middle and high schools that demonstrate consistently high levels of student academic achievement, improvement in achievement over time and reduction in achievement gaps. For high schools, Honor Roll recognition includes high college readiness in students.
