District to limit crowds for indoor athletic events during “red stage”

Beginning Monday, Aug. 30, extracurricular events in Leander ISD will be limited to 50% capacity. This will remain in effect while LISD is in the “red stage”. Masks are required at indoor LISD events.

Information specific to indoor athletic events:
–Masks are required at indoor LISD events.
-Because we do have capacity restrictions, out of courtesy for other patrons, we are asking spectators to leave after the contest. Doing so will open seats for parents of the next game. This is especially important at middle school games due to smaller gyms.
-All tickets must be purchased online.
-Passes Accepted: LISD Gold Cards, LISD Family Passes, LISD Athlete Passes, UIL Passes, LISD Employee Badge

LISD will continue to monitor COVID numbers and we look forward to a return to normal capacity limits at indoor events upon a return to the yellow stage.
