CRMS Science Fair special awards/certificates Alexa Agnew and Jillian Ritchie fed plants a teaspoon of various drinks each day. The young scientists found out that the more acid, sugar and carbonation the liquids had, the poorer the plants performed. Bria Pearce (pictured) and Kinsley Osgood worked on an ice cream freezing experiment. They earned a 3rd place ribbon and will advance to the regional fair. Karson Hage and Cici Latino worked on finding out if the amount of flour in a cookie recipe matters. The answer is yes. Cookies with less flour spread out more and are thinner than cookies with more flour. Chelsea Oatman and Emma Edington worked on a project trying to find out how colored text affects memory.
