Possible houseless man appears to be living near 620/2222 and it’s legal

An SUV has been in the parking lot at 6812 RM 620 N. near the intersection of RM 2222 for nearly two months. There appears to be a man living in the SUV. Each week more items have been collecting around the parked vehicle.
This is not a crime according to the Travis County Sheriff’s Office.
“There are no laws in the Texas Penal Code forbidding someone to sleep (or live) in their car,” said Kristen Dark, TCSO public information officer. “If the property owner didn’t want the car parked in his/her lot and couldn’t get the person to leave, we would respond to that call for service.”
