The Vandegrift Viper Playmaker Camp was held last week with 105 local football players attending.
“We call it Playmaker Camp for a reason,” said Blake Mouser, VHS football offensive coordinator. “In four or five years, these guys are gonna be scoring touchdowns for the Vipers so we’re pretty happy about it.”
Playmaker Camp started on June 13 and was hosted at Vandegrift’s Monroe Stadium in the morning.
Tereez Harrison, who currently attends Four Points Middle School, wants to be a running back. On the last day of camp, he said his highlight of the week was “meeting people and wondering what positions they play and how they play, because they are gonna be my future teammates when I come to Vandegrift.”
“This is our second annual Playmaker Camp. Super proud of all these Vipers,” Mouser said.
