Three students are heading to nationals to represent Vandegrift in the Family, Career and Community Leaders of America national competition.

Claire Soung won 1st place in interior design and Riley Arispe and Jaea Rivera took 1st place in professional presentation at the state competition April 7-9 in Dallas.

“We are so excited that VHS FCCLA rocked state completion,” according to Stacey Pomerantz, FCCLA advisor at VHS. Other advisors are Jodi Jacobsen, Meghan Irby and Deanna Bentley.

The FCCLA National Leadership Conference is taking place next week June 29 – July 3 in San Diego.
