Steiner Ranch hosted the annual Concert in the Park event on August 20 with thousands attending and 29 sponsors. 

 “Austin Baptist Church came back this year after missing last year’s event and this year ABC was the flagship sponsor together with the Steiner Ranch Master Association,” shared Desirre Ghebremicael, Steiner’s lifestyle and communication manager.  

Duval Road, a band from Steiner Ranch whose drummer is a Steiner mom, opened for Dysfunkshun Junkshun.

This was the first Concert in the Park for Katie Van Doren, new Vandegrift director of bands.

The Viper band performed as well as Vision Dance Co., VHS cheer and Legacies Dance.

The event had a water slide, trampolines, foam cannon, a misting station, LED dancers and many more activities.

Austin Baptist brought freezer pops, face painters, balloons twisters and a caricature artist.

IAMREADYSWIM+Randalls gave away 3,500 water bottles.

“It went very well,” said Ghebremicael.
