Four Points Pop Warner opened the 2022 season with a pep rally on August 31 and first games played over Labor Day weekend – kicking off its 15th season. The season wrapped up a few weeks ago at the end of October.
With 186 student athletes, representing at least eight schools in the Four Points area, FPPW is primed for a great season with six football teams and three cheer teams.
“We are grateful for the support of LISD, the Four Points community and our sponsors that allows us to coach our kids in the greatest game ever,” stated Ross Britton, president of FPPW. “We also greatly appreciate the support we have from Coach Drew Sanders of the Vandegrift Vipers, and his willingness to invest time in our program.”
Vandegrift varsity football players spoke to the crowd at the pep rally about the hallmarks of Viper football: Discipline, toughness, effort and honor. They also encouraged the younger players to enjoy playing football with their best friends, and that “it just gets better from here.”
FPPW is excited to introduce you to the 2022 football and cheer teams and recognize players with 5+ years playing in FPPW.
