“A back-to-back State Championship is unheard of and speaks to the dedication of the students and the support from the entire band community of parents, teachers, administrators, and directors at Vandegrift High School,” shared Katherine VanDoren, VHS director of bands.
“These students truly embody our mission statement, ‘Defining the Standard’ in every aspect of their lives with the band and Vision program; from the way they rehearse, the way they perform, and to the way they treat each other each day,” VanDoren shared.
