A River Place Firewise brush removal event was held on Saturday, January 11 and 16 community volunteers banded together to remove a signifi cant amount of brush, dead trees and storm damaged vegetation from
the River Place Limited District preserve.

“Our eff orts greatly contributed to the reduction of built-up wildfi re fuels and has reduced wildfi re risks in the area,” shared Jackie Catlett, RP Firewise information coordinator. “Thanks to all who volunteered and supported our eff orts. Special thanks to Buckner Tree Care for their support of this community.”
