“We will be playing Friday 4/4 vs Houston Stratford at 7:30 p.m. at College Station HS Stadium,” shared Caitlin Sawyer, head coach of the Vandegrift girls soccer team.

The Vandegrift girls soccer team won 2-1 over Westwood on April 1 in Class 6A Division II at the Pfield to become the regional champions in the Texas high school girls soccer playoffs.
“I’m incredibly proud of the team for all their hard work and dedication. Reaching the state semifinals is a huge accomplishment, and it’s a testament to the passion and commitment that each player brings to the field,” Coach Sawyer shared. “We’ve come together as a unit, and this achievement is the result of the effort put in both on and off the field since last year. But we’re not done yet !”
Vipers will play Stratford (Houston) on April 4 as part of the 2025 UIL Texas Girls Soccer State Championships – 2025 Soccer Conference 6A D2 tournament.
