Spring Game: Football, dance, cheer, powderpuff

Drew Sanders, Vandegrift head football coach

“Best thing about the spring game (on May 23) was that we again suited up around 200 players for the second straight year and had every athlete compete in front of fans and family. Big plays on the silver team were the touchdowns scored by WR Taylor Dummar from QB Ryan Back and a touchdown run from Cayden Bourque. The silver team also had one interception from Ben Scott. The black team had successful big plays as well from QB Dru Dawson, running back Deangelo Dowdy, and defensive end Matthew Graham. Final score: 17 Silver 0 Black We really appreciate all the support from the Viper community. The spring game was well attended with great performances from the cheerleading squad, Legacies, and future Vipers playing 7 on 7 during halftime. “
