Texas hits record high for early voting turnout

More Texans have voted early in 2020 than ever before Texas first offered early voting in 1988, and since 2008 more Texans have voted early than on Election Day. The state has 1.8 million more registered voters in 2020 than it did in 2016. Note: Early voting is extended to three weeks in 2020 due to the pandemic.
