Texas hits record high for early voting turnout

More Texans have voted early in 2020 than ever before Texas first offered early voting in 1988, and since 2008 more Texans have voted early than on Election Day. The state has 1.8 million more registered voters in 2020 than it did in 2016. Note: Early voting is extended to three weeks in 2020 due to the pandemic. Trunk or Treating brings together costumes and candy

Dragons, dinosaurs, U.S. presidents, hot dogs, werewolves, Olafs, ninjas, superheroes, “ e Scream”, various princesses and much more filled the parking lot of Austin Baptist Church at its annual Trunk or Treat on Oct. 25. Some 40 vehicles were decorated in all sorts of themes including “Star Wars”, “Jurassic Park”, SpongeBob, pumpkin barn animals, fairy tea party, a gumball machine and the Scooby Doo gang. Pony rides, tons of candy, games and train rides were part of the event.
