Are Four Points’ main roads more dangerous this summer than last? 30+ crashes so far this summer

According to the Texas Department of Transportation, over the past three months, from May 10 to Aug. 10, 2020, there have been 30 crashes involving 63 vehicles and 79 people on the main roadways of Four Points, mostly RM 620 and RM 2222. Red oval means injury accident; red circle with star means injury accident with a citation issued; green means an accident with no injuries, green circle with star means no injury accident but citation given; blue means deadly accident; blue with star means deadly accident with citation.

4Points Academy to close site, transitions to 100% virtual

After opening 4Points Academy four years ago, director Eustace Isadore is shifting gears and will leave the near 3,000-square-foot site in Steiner Ranch to go 100% virtual. The coronavirus pandemic caused the small, private school to make the major shift.

“We’re coming up to the end of the lease at the end of August. Six months paying large rent without revenues,” said Isadore, a Steiner Ranch resident who had to pay expenses out-of-pocket. “If the program is going to work, we’ll make it work online. We’ll transition out of that space and continue the academy online.”
