St. Luke’s on the Lake marks 60 years in Four Points A view of St. Luke’s original Parish Hall during its construction. The hall was built almost entirely by church members for just $5,000 in seven weekss Reverend Justin Yawn with current office staff members (from left) Mary Miner, Barbara Frazell and Anne Severson. They are standing in front of the church’s famous baptismal font, imported from the Sea of Galilee in Israel and donated by church members in 1978. Hanging above is the church’s original wooden cross, which first hung in the “bait shack” where St. Luke’s was founded.
