Tania Martinez Minnich is a local Comanche Trail resident whose dreams — influenced by her culture — are coming to be. The mother of two, is the founder and CEO of Modiste by Tania, a local fashion line with its first ever collection in production and coming out soon.  

Minnich has been working on this collection in her head for over a decade, and says she hopes to have wares in hand by spring or at least by mid-2020.

No new incidents at Pak Mail after last month’s vandalism

The Pak Mail in Steiner Ranch was vandalized a month ago when the name “Ben” was burned into the rug, more burn marks were found on the carpet, trash was thrown around, and it appeared there was urine on one wall, according to shop owners, Michael and Irina Belov.

Steiner 5-year-old healing after being attacked by large dog

Emma Horak, 5, has had two surgeries on her face after being bitten by a large dog while on a playdate in Steiner Ranch on January 28. Her mom Alyson says it has been a traumatizing experience for their family.

Brandon and Alyson Horak of Steiner Ranch are still reeling after their daughter, Emma, was bitten on the face, hand and bottom by a large dog while on a playdate on January 28. Emma has already undergone two surgeries to repair the damage and a friend of the family has started a GoFundMe campaign to help with mounting medical bills.
