Nancy Eisemann Blackburn’s body was discovered in a submerged vehicle in Lake Austin at the end of Quinlan Park Road just over a year ago on Feb. 2, 2019, and Austin Police Department stated that her blood alcohol level was three times the legal limit.
Brenden Foster’s vehicle was found by authorities abandoned on Feb. 5 in the Four Points area and he was reported missing by his family after that, but extensive searches by the Travis County Sheriff’s Office and volunteers have not turned up conclusive answers as to his whereabouts as of Thursday morning.
On Feb. 6, articles of Foster’s personal belongings, including his prescription eyeglasses were found near the water at stairwell 14 (the last stairwell in the park) when park officials did preliminary search of park, according to information from the family.
